Kim Grady, born in France, is now living in Newfoundland, Canada. She works mostly with textiles, sculpture and time-based medias to portray themes of mindfulness and healing of one’s mind. Inspired by her personal experiences with mental health and the mental state of society, Grady’s work deep dives into the dark crevices of life and manages to find light and positive energy, whether that is done through a realistic representation or an imaginative one. Always looking for different ways to heal the world in subtle yet poignant ways, Grady is always observant around her. Life events, social events, worldwide events, learning about the brain and human behaviors through speech and body language, she is always fascinated. Grady is currently an emerging artist who has shown some work in both gallery (Tina Dolter Gallery) and festival (CB Nuit) setting.

Their current art practice, being largely community focused and collaborative in nature and involving a wide range of art media with a focus on environmental issues, fits perfectly with CB Nuit’s mandate.
