CB Nuit 2026

Call for Artists, Musicians,
and Community Projects

CB Nuit - 2026 Festival.png

CB Nuit is a magical and inspiring art festival in Ktaqmkuk / Newfoundland, nestled on the shore of Elmastukwek / Bay of Islands. At this shoreline, you will find Corner Brook, a small city with a vibrant community and a unique creative spirit. CB Nuit acknowledges that the land on which we gather, create, and celebrate is traditional Mi’kmaq territory, and we honour the diverse histories and cultures of Indigenous peoples in this province, including the Beothuk, Mi’kmaq, Innu, and Inuit.

Since 2017, CB Nuit has been held in the heart of the city on West Street. For festival night, the street shuts down, allowing large pedestrian audiences to wander, explore, and experience art. Community members see familiar spaces transformed as site-specific projects and music acts animate local businesses and public indoor and outdoor areas. Now in its 10th year, the festival has presented and supported hundreds of artists and musicians, creating a rich multidisciplinary celebration of creativity, community, and the magic of art at night.

Celebrating a Decade of CB Nuit!

This milestone year marks ten incredible years of art, music, and community. It’s not just a celebration of the festival itself, but of the artists, volunteers, partners, and audiences who have shaped CB Nuit into what it is today. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed their creativity, energy, and vision over the past decade.

Over the years, we’ve built strong bonds within a creative community. We come together to share an artistic experience during a magical evening. This year’s theme was carefully chosen to celebrate the past ten years of creating magic together!

For CB Nuit's special 10th Anniversary, Flow invites artists to explore movement, connection, and the ways things come together over time. From the quiet shift of an ebb into a rising tide, to the braided rhythms of people, place, and community, flow is the motion that shapes us. It can be the course of a river, the drift of weather, or the weaving together of many parts into something shared. Flow asks artists to consider how ideas move, gather, and transform, and how we adapt alongside the shifting currents around us.
