This cross-cultural exchange centers on a hand-painted, functional sculptural piece — an eight-foot handcrafted surfboard blending influences from both artists' ancestral designs. The multidisciplinary installation also includes photography, sound, and video captured by Dru Kennedy, rounding out this exceptional collaborative vision.

That's the heart of Nasim Makaremi Nia's "Dream Land," a video and augmented reality work exploring migration, memory, and identity through hybrid animals, Iranian architecture, and Newfoundland landscapes.

Robyn Anderson of Nestled Art Therapy, joined by Adam Critchley, invites you to pause and slow down with "Seek with me. Find with me." — a large-scale seek and find installation that gently interrupts West Street's usual pace.

Inspired by classic children's seek and find books like I Spy, the piece sets a vignette of a traditional Newfoundland "boil up" beside a flowing stream, asking you to search, linger, and simply be present in the moment.

"4 SQUARE 4 ALL" by Summer Snow & Kel Parsons brings the playground classic Square Ball to CB Nuit with a community tournament open to all. Jump in the lineup, ride the momentum, and see how far you can make it in a round!

With continuous games and multiple winners, this project turns public space into a playground of nostalgia and connection. 

In the dark, a single light can mean everything. 

"Homebound Glow" by The Crew pays homage to Newfoundland's lightstations and keepers — a means of communication and connection between those safe on land and the ships of people flowing through the dark seas, since Norse ships first docked at L'Anse aux Meadows in 1000 CE.

Blending theatre (costume, lighting, acting) with painting, sewing, and sculpture, this project is a beacon of its own — built for a night when finding your way through the dark is exactly the point.

"What Keeps Us Together" by Violet Malinowka & Alice Quezada explores this question through an aerial hoop act that will enrapture you in a world of flight and wonder.

How does the past ~FLOW~ on through you?

"Halo of Reality," by Ismael Gomezcana Cuevas with collaborators Samantha Mutrey-Swain and Keira Clarke, brings a life-sized, hand-embroidered dress inspired by traditional Guerrero, Mexico artistry to life. Directed by Michael Waller, the piece blends body, sound, and architecture into a living reflection of memory, identity, and resilience.

"Listening Ground" by Roberto Santaguida strips everything back — no speakers, no screen, no spectacle. Just a single blanket lying close to the ground. Lie down, touch the surface, or stand at the edge, and something begins to rise through the fabric — barely there, then impossible to ignore. Created for CB Nuit's low-sensory space, this piece turns flow into a current you feel before you understand it.

Inspired by the energy of the human soul, this piece uses colour to represent the spiritual aura surrounding each of us. The silhouette captures a woman becoming connected with herself, allowing her energy to flow rather than holding it back. Mentored by Amanda Johnson.

A young Filipino artist and student at Corner Brook Regional High School, Courtney invites guests into an interactive DIY photo booth, hand-doodling live portraits with vibrant markers and watercolour paper. Each piece becomes a personal bookmark — a nostalgic anchor capturing fleeting moments of connection and the continuous flow of time. Mentored by Jane Reagh.

A collaborative rug hooking piece depicting a raging storm above a calm sea. Visitors are invited to learn to rug hook and help bring starfish, coral, and sea creatures to life, finishing the scene together. Mentored by Joelle Stratton.

An interactive digital campaign and performance piece where attendees can participate in a live Newfoundland (Ktaqmkuk) themed experience fusing role-playing, 3D art, and augmented reality.
