Sarah O'Rourke-Whelan (b. 1994) found her love of digital storytelling during her BFA program in Grenfell's computer labs. Her career spans three murals on the Avalon, digital illustration, and a teaching practice with Sassytuna where she leads a comic drawing class. Her studio is based in Outer Cove, Newfoundland.
