be soft(er)

be soft(er) explores how we may sit comfortably with things that are uncomfortable through depicting ‘knit-skin-bodies.’ By knitting this whimsically pink glowing arm, I am  attempting to ‘bring light’ to the topic of hypochondria/anxiety through an installation  that is at once comically large and accessible, familiar but unfamiliar, and soft yet  startling.
