Kirk Dunn
Knitting Pilgram
The Knitting Pilgrim, featuring actor and knitter Kirk Dunn, is a multidisciplinary one-man show that combines personal storytelling, image projection, and three huge knitted panels that look like stained glass windows, exploring the connection amongst the Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The play recounts Kirk’s fifteen-year artistic and spiritual journey of hand-knitting the ambitious project, and looks at why people struggle to get along today, the meaning of art, the hell of grant-writing and the power of love to overcome major obstacles (and minor mishaps).
Tupiq A.C.T
TUPIQ A.C.T. tell stories, through contemporary circus arts, throat singing, drum dancing, and Inuit games.
The TUPIQ A.C.T. performance dances between reality and the dream world using contemporary circus, and traditional Inuit arts to create the worlds inhabited by the two main characters and the strange creatures that share the tundra.

Whirlpools of Memory
Part performance-part installation, “Whirlpools of Memory” features the artist stuck in a spiral of continuous papermaking—a repetitive and meditative practice, reminiscent of the days she spent watching her grandmother meticulously doing household tasks. The piece explores a journey of dealing with the loss of one’s hometown through papermaking with organic material.
David Downton
Vortex House
David, originally from NL, has a background in filmmaking and is self-taught in 3D animation, motion graphics, and various visual arts. He is passionate about experimenting with different techniques and entered film school initially to focus on script writing, but discovered a love for cameras, lighting, and VFX instead. David has professional experience in film and TV but prefers working on small independent projects.

The Adventures of Juicy Moosey A rhyming tale about a dancing moose made of juice. Follow Juicy Moosey as he goes on a Newfoundland themed adventure. Enjoy a juice box, and craft it into your own moosey marionette. Keep a lookout for roaming moose on West street!

THE BACCHAE
The Bacchae, a Greek tragedy by Euripides, depicts Pentheus' futile struggle against Dionysos, the god of wine and revelry, leading Thebes into madness. Originally performed at Athens' Dionysia festival, its CBNuit performance echoes this ancient tradition, reminding us we're not just observers, but contributors to art.

“to unwind a seashell” is a solo dance piece with a powerful original score by Newfoundland born composer, Robert Humber, featuring piano, an electronic track, as well as recordings from old cassette tapes. “to unwind a seashell” was made in collaboration with composer Robert Humber, pianist Stephen Eckhart, and myself, choreographer and dance artist, Hilary Knee, initially as a dance film project.

“Our Night Life” is a nighttime installation, blending art and citizen science to immerse visitors in the world of moths. A lighted path leads to a black light moth trap, where visitors observe insects and use iNaturalist for species identification. The project promotes conservation awareness and scientific engagement.

Step inside the mind of an individual on the edge of a breakdown. This audio-visual piece will take you to the inner corners of anxiety. Many people are suffering in silence from the loudest illnesses of the mind. Silent Illness puts a spotlight on mental health from a new perspective.
Japanese Uzumaki
Spiral Sushi and Ramen Poetry Factory
Inspired by the Japanese word and food Uzumaki (spiral or spiral foods) and the Ramen Factory in Tokyo, Japan, our project examines the spirals of connections that food, art, and community projects can create. Participants will be invited to decorate a giant cup of ramen and create their own miniature ramen cup using upcycled materials.

Upward Spiral' is a 20-minute solo contemporary dance performance exploring the theme of regeneration through spiraling movement. Choreographed and performed by the artist, with original music by a Montreal collaborator, this piece will be presented in a West Street venue, marking the artist's creative return to Corner Brook.

A Meal with Friends
A Meal with Friends is an interactive performance piece that invites attendees to sit down for a conversation with the artist, at a table set with mixed-media food sculptures. The meal addresses the spiraling nature of simultaneously building community and self-identity, at a time when access to food has become increasingly difficult.

Nuit Tonight
Nuit Tonight is a live talk show where participants discuss conspiracy theories. As hosts, Humphrey Myers (Matt Sherstobetoff) and Scott Stephenson (Colwynn Parris) engage and spin these ideas into playful, fictional narratives. Audience members can write on the desk, contributing to the evolving theories, while the hosts gradually spiral deeper into the rabbit hole. Be our guest.

Still Standing up
Marina grew up in a large Irish Catholic family where making people laugh was a competitive sport. Encouraged by her brother Tommy, she entered a Stand-up Competition and placed second. She was hooked but after performing at the Halifax Comedy Festival she realized her growing family and Dental Practice had to take priority. 25 years later she’s spiralling back to making people laugh.

“What are We” is an audiovisual production that combines ecstatic music, dance and strobing lights. The performance doubles as a dance party, in which the artists play together, and practice (re)creating that joy and catharsis that can only be found on the dancefloor.
Spirit Within
Spirit Within is a group of special needs youth performing popular and original music, led by songwriter Rebecca Hampton, founder/keyboardist Melanie Gosse, and guitarist Dylan Bennet. Joined by Olympians Ashley Rogers, Stephanie Cassell, Colin Jarvis, and Sarah Flight, they inspire with messages of hope, positivity, and inclusiveness.

Enspiral
'Enspiral' is an exploration of the many recurring spiral patterns found in nature, such as phyllotaxis, the mathematical spiral arrangement of flower petals and leaves on a plant stem. Though organic, nature tends to adhere to these patterns and rules, which 'Enspiral' will seek to respect, manipulate, and extrapolate.

How do you [stop a] Spiral?
"How do you [stop a] Spiral?" invites the community to contribute handprints to a collective spiral artwork. Each handprint, reflecting on ways to stop a mental health spiral, creates a pointillist spiral, encouraging emotional regulation and resource sharing through art and psychoeducation.

An Upward Spiral of Healing from Breast Cancer
This exhibition of photographs of tattoos that women got in response to breast cancer is accompanied by their explanation of the role of these tattoos in their healing. The downward spiral of loss of control during treatment was replaced by the upward spiral of agency in designing and obtaining a tattoo.

Snail Trails
Leaving ethereal trails throughout the festival our whimsical snail sculptures are crafted from recycled and found materials. Each one is beautiful and unique, and following their trail will surely lead to something fun. Look for them painting masterpieces, "borrowing" treats, and bringing a touch of magic to every corner!

My project is a paint by number where people can come up and paint a section. In my painting there is a head that is exploding and there is tentacles and spirals coming out of it. In the background there is two planets, an astronaut, stars and a alien space ship.

My project is a 7-foot tree sculpture made from decomposing, earth-friendly materials. The tree symbolizes the planet, and a doll on a swing represents humanity. Weaving light cords into the branches reflects a spiral theme. Visitors can sign the tree, leaving their mark, as we do on Earth.
