JANICE HERTEL

Janice Hertel enjoys creating immersive experiences through digital and traditional art. Newfoundland has been her home for a decade, including St. John’s, Stephenville, and Portugal Cove. Career highlights involve art exhibited in the US, Canada, and England, and working on video games for Xbox360, Nintendo DS/Wii, and IMAX 3D films (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix). Her education includes a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MFA from James Madison University, and a BEd from Memorial University. She has worked in museums, galleries, and as a post-secondary educator in the US and Canada.

West St. Lamps

This Instagram filter West St. Lamps puts two dancing lamps in your video with you wearing a party mask, as confetti falls in the scene (open your mouth for more confetti).
