ALL OF US EVERYWEAR

CB Nuit is all about Community. CB Nuit creates a project that invites dwellers of Corner Brook to participate creatively. In 2018, we featured self-portraits made from re-usable materials and strung along West Street on a 800’ string of re-purposed bed sheets. In 2019 we created a forest of bio-degradable 6’ lanterns stained with natural food dyes with a sound track of voices speaking about Climate Change. For 2020 we invited our Community to create wearable art from materials found in their home for “All of Us EveryWEAR”. They were photographed by Tom Cochrane (or sent in their own images) and featured in a collection of photos assembled creatively by digital artist Inioluwa Adedapo.

ABOUT

CB Nuit is a magical and inspiring evening of art on the West Coast of Newfoundland / Ktaqmkuk and we're excited to be back for a fourth year!

Corner Brook's first after dark arts festival was called Nuit150+ and it happened in 2017 as part of Canada's 150 birthday celebrations. The event was a HUGE success, so the organizers brought it back for another year in 2018 in 2019, and again in 2020.

Our goal is to  engage the Corner Brook community creatively through participation in site specific art projects which foster self expression.
